HOW IT BEGAN
Chroma formed in 2024 when Ian Salas prepared to host his first DIY show for The Kins, a local band. Recognizing the event's potential, Ian reached out to his friend and co-founder, Sophia Limon for her experience in hosting large-scale community events. After consulting Sophia Fascenelli, the marketing director of CSUF's Titan Radio, instant collaboration sparked and the trio was formed.
Following the success of their first event, Chroma dedicated to keeping this creative energy moving, hosting six music-focused events over the next year. Most recently, the team welcomed Nicholas Pigeon, local musician, artist, and fashion merchandising student, whose versatility and talent quickly cemented his place within the group.
A project full of experimentation, lessons, and growth, Chroma is constantly evolving and working to expand their role in the Orange County creative scene.
